Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty Position in Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology

Candidates interested in the study of cardiovascular or digestive disease using stem cells are particularly encouraged to apply. Competitive salary, laboratory space and start-up funds are available.  Candidates at the Associate Professor level are expected to bring a vigorous research program with significant extramural funding.  Current research strengths in the department include tissue engineering, pluripotent stem cell differentiation, cardiovascular development, digestive disease, and molecular biology of cell function. Research in the department is supported by several excellent core facilities specializing in imaging, genetically modified mice and rats, drug discovery, proteomics, genomics, and flow cytometry.  A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree (or equivalent), plus additional postdoctoral experience are required.
